Who is this actually for?+
Two people. The first is the career switcher from outside tech, considering a move into cybersecurity and trying to figure out where to start. The second is the IT professional (help desk, sysadmin, network, devops) who already does security-adjacent work and wants to pivot into a security role. This is not for senior security leaders or people already hiring into the field.
When does the first class start?+
The first live class is May 1, 2026. The waitlist is open right now, and the first 20 students get the program for $3,500 instead of $7,000. Once those 20 seats are gone, the next class runs at the full $7,000.
Do I need a tech background to join?+
No. I built this for career switchers and IT professionals who want a credible path into security. You bring curiosity and a willingness to show up weekly. I teach the rest.
How is this different from Springboard, Flatiron, TryHackMe, or Cybrary?+
Those platforms teach the content: labs, certs, concepts. They are good at that. What they cannot give you is the perspective of the person on the other side of the interview. I am the one reading resumes and deciding who joins the team. You learn not just the work, but what a hiring manager is actually listening for, how to tell your story so it beats more technical candidates, and how to position yourself for roles that get offered instead of just advertised. Small cohort, real 1:1 time with me, no automated grading.
What does it cost?+
The full price is $7,000 for the 12-week program — weekly live classes, six 1:1 sessions with me, a portfolio project, and 90 days of office hours afterward. The first 20 students get half off at $3,500, and you can either pay in full or split it into 4 monthly payments of $999. Many career switchers also get this reimbursed by their current employer's professional development budget — happy to provide an invoice for that. Most graduates earn back the cost within 60 days of starting their first security role.
Do you guarantee a job?+
No. Any program promising a job is either lying, hiding the fine print, or padding placement with low-quality roles. I publish real cohort outcomes (interviews, offers, roles landed) and focus on making sure you walk out with the narrative, portfolio, and interview skills to compete.
What do I actually walk out with — certificate, LOR, all of that?+
Yes. Graduates get a verifiable Certificate of Completion you can post on LinkedIn and attach to applications, plus a personalized Letter of Recommendation from me on letterhead — signed as a working CISO, not a generic instructor. You also walk out with a finished portfolio project on a real company scenario, a rebuilt resume and LinkedIn reviewed by me, and lifetime community access. The certificate and LOR are awarded only to people who finish the program and the capstone — they mean something because not everyone gets one.
Can I just pay now or do I have to wait?+
You can pay now. The first 20 students lock in the $3,500 half-off price and a seat in the May 1 class. The first 5 to pay also get a bonus 1:1 with me before the class starts. The waitlist exists for people who want a few days to think about it or to make sure the program is right for them before committing. Either path works.
